The Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences is a graduate school established by Gifu Prefecture for the education and training of creative specialists who will break new ground in our information orientated society.
The school has one faculty and one course, the Graduate School of Media Creations and Course for Media Creations. It is an elite institution with only 20 students enrolled in each year of the Masters course. IAMAS enrolls students from all backgrounds including science, the arts, and fine art, and aims to produce globally minded media masters who have strong creative talents and a keen awareness of issues concerning multimedia and popular culture. IAMAS has an ideal study environment, outstanding facilities and teaching staff with long experience in a variety of disciplines.
