Kyoto University of Education is conveniently located in the southern part of the historic city of Kyoto. The spacious campus provides plenty of greenery despite being in an urban area. The University includes the Center for Educational Research and Training and the University Health Center.There are also 6 schools affiliated with the University. The city of Kyoto, internatioally known for its cultural heritage, has 1,217 years of history and had long been the capital of Japan. It still remains very active and progressive in arts and academic activities, attracting both native and overseas students and tourists.
