Features
Based on our slogan, "Look at the world, start with the community”, which include life sciences, environmental science, food science, and energy science. University of Miyazaki (UoM) is distinctive quality of research result and advanced academic research results to the world.

UoM consists of five faculties: Education, Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture, and Regional Innovation. And the graduate school has master’s programs such as Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Nursing, Graduate School of Engineering, Graduate School of Agriculture, and Graduate School of Regional Innovation.

Furthermore, we have a master's and doctoral course at the Graduate School of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, and a doctoral course at the Graduate School of Agricultural Engineering, which is a unique research system that integrates different fields. Currently, about 150 international students are enrolled, and they are working hard every day in a blessed natural environment.

At UoM, we will continue to strive to be a beacon through our role as a university that steadily deepens its roots in local communities, while cultivating individuals who are capable of thinking and acting locally and globally over the course of their careers. We promote educational cooperation and student exchanges with overseas universities, actively accept excellent international students from overseas, and at the same time provide support for Japanese language education and living / schooling. We also provide support such as providing a place for mutual exchange between foreign students and Japanese students.
