Available Link Neo-Futuristic Human Resource Development Program for Practical Public Health in Southeast Asia and Pacific Countries has been organized in order to offer a better opportunity for graduate study to students from abroad by (1) instructing all courses in the English language and (2) commencing the academic program in October instead of April. The Program is organized by the Field of Human Health Promotion and International & Islands Health Science, and offers a Master's and a Doctoral program to acquire knowledge and research skills for public health improvement of developing countries. Upon enrollment, the candidates are each assigned to a supervisor who will direct their thesis research for two years (Master’s program) and three years (Doctoral program) in the designated field of specialization. The degree of Master of Health Science will be awarded in recognition of thesis research and course work including seminars, with a minimum of 30 credits (16 compulsory credits and 14 or more elective credits). Some of the courses may include laboratory or field work and training. The degree of Doctor of Health Science will be awarded in recognition of thesis research and course work including seminars, with a minimum of 14 credits. |
